Terms of service
Last updated: 27 September 2026
These terms apply when you buy an OwnDesk service online, for example through a checkout link on owndesk.ai. If we’ve signed a separate agreement with you, that agreement applies instead.
Who we are
OwnDesk is a trading name of Oaklane Finance Limited, a company registered in England and Wales (company number 17408666). Registered office: 71–75 Shelton Street, Covent Garden, London WC2H 9JQ, United Kingdom. Email: hello@owndesk.ai.
Our services are for businesses. By buying, you confirm you’re buying for your business, not as a consumer.
What you’re buying
The package you choose, as described on our services page when you buy:
- LinkedIn and social media management, Starter: £250 a month, 1 LinkedIn post every weekday.
- LinkedIn and social media management, Growth: £350 a month, 2 LinkedIn posts every weekday.
- LinkedIn and social media management, Leader: £950 a month, 2 LinkedIn posts every weekday plus LinkedIn ads set up and managed, with the ad spend included in the price.
- Lead generation: managed outreach at £550 a month per profile, tools included.
Billing and cancelling
- You pay monthly in advance, by card through Stripe. Your subscription renews each month until you cancel.
- Cancel any time by emailing hello@owndesk.ai. The service continues until the end of the month you’ve paid for, and you won’t be charged again. We don’t refund part months.
- Lead generation includes a one-month minimum, because the first weeks are set-up and warm-up.
- If a payment fails and isn’t fixed within 14 days, we may pause the service.
- We’ll give you at least 30 days’ notice of any price change.
Getting started
We’ll message you within one working day of your payment to book a kick-off call. Work starts after that call.
How LinkedIn management works
- Each week we send interview questions. Please answer them within 2 working days, by text or voice note.
- We send drafts for your approval. Nothing is posted without your approval. When you approve a post, you’re confirming it’s accurate and that you’re happy for it to appear under your name.
- If you don’t answer the questions, we write from earlier material where we can. If we can’t, fewer posts go out that week. Posts missed because of a delay on your side don’t roll over. Posts missed because of a delay on ours carry over to the next month.
- To schedule posts, you connect your LinkedIn account to our scheduling tool. You can disconnect it at any time.
How lead generation works
- We agree the target list and every outreach message with you before anything is sent.
- You confirm you’re entitled to market to the people we contact for you. For UK cold email, that generally means business contacts at limited companies and LLPs; sole traders and some partnerships need their prior consent (PECR). We’ll flag anything that looks wrong.
- We run the tools, domains and inboxes needed, and their costs are included. When the service ends, we’ll send you the prospect list and replies.
- LinkedIn outreach is sent by hand from your profile. We don’t use automation tools on LinkedIn.
What we promise, and what we don’t
We commit to doing the work described above well. We don’t promise a number of impressions, replies, meetings or sales.
Who owns what
Once paid for, the posts and outreach copy we write for you are yours. We keep our own templates, methods and tools. We won’t say publicly that we work for you, or share your results, without your written permission.
Confidentiality and your data
We each keep the other’s confidential information private. For personal data we handle on your behalf (for example prospects’ details in lead generation), you are the controller and we are your processor under UK GDPR. We will:
- process it only on your instructions
- keep it secure and confidential
- use only the sub-processors needed to run the service (such as our email, LinkedIn and data tools), and tell you before adding new ones
- help you with data-rights requests and breaches
- delete or return it within 30 days of the service ending
Our privacy notice explains how we handle your own details.
Liability
Nothing here limits liability that can’t legally be limited. Otherwise, our total liability is limited to the fees you paid in the 3 months before a claim. Neither of us is liable for indirect losses or lost profit. We aren’t responsible for decisions made by third-party platforms, such as LinkedIn account restrictions or email spam filtering.
General
We may update these terms. The version on this page when you buy applies to your purchase, and we’ll tell you about changes that affect an active subscription. The law of England and Wales applies, and its courts decide any dispute.
