Who we are
Owndesk is operated by Oaklane Finance Limited, a company registered in England and Wales (company number 17408666), registered office 71–75 Shelton Street, Covent Garden, London WC2H 9JQ, United Kingdom. We are the controller of the personal data described here. Contact us at hello@owndesk.ai.
What we collect
Your email address, your first and last name, the plan you tell us you're interested in, how you found us (campaign tags and the referring page), a salted one-way hash of your IP address to stop spam signups, and when you joined, confirmed or unsubscribed.
Why
To tell you when Owndesk launches and to apply your early bird discount. The site also shows anonymous activity, such as “Someone reserved Pro, 5 min ago”, which never includes your name, email or location. We rely on your consent, which you give by joining and confirming, and you can withdraw it at any time with the unsubscribe link in any email we send.
If you contact us
Messages sent through our contact form (your name, email address and message) are kept so we can reply, and deleted within 12 months unless we're still in touch.
Who handles it
Cloudflare hosts this site and stores the waitlist, and Resend sends our emails and keeps a list of confirmed members so we can email you at launch. We don't sell or share your details with anyone else.
How long we keep it
Until you unsubscribe, or 12 months after launch if you haven't created an account, whichever comes first.
Your rights
You can ask to see, correct or delete your data at any time by emailing hello@owndesk.ai. If you're unhappy with how we've handled it, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk).
